Good Faith Estimate (GFE)
Good Faith Estimate (GFE)
A document that was replaced by the Loan Estimate in 2015. The GFE provided an estimate of settlement charges the borrower would likely pay. Now, the Loan Estimate serves this purpose with more standardized formatting.
